TROY, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– GlobalSpec (www.globalspec.com), the leading specialized search engine, information resource and e-publishing company for the engineering, industrial and technical communities, today announced that it achieved significant growth in a number of areas during 2009, reaching new milestones in registered users, subscribers and subscriptions, as well as new product launches.

In 2009, GlobalSpec expanded its global registered user base by 900,000 — 19% year over year growth — and has now surpassed 5,600,000 total registered users. In addition, GlobalSpec also gained over 1,400,000 new subscriptions to its suite of engineering and technology focused e-newsletters and now publishes over 60 e-titles with a combined worldwide opt-in circulation of 9,100,000 — a 21% year over year increase.
